Returning home after a long day out, Jerry discovers that his wife may not have been bored at the time either. Word for word and mutual complaints lead to divorce. Jerry has a couple of girlfriends, and an oilman from Oklahoma starts looking after Lucy. However, Jerry keeps interrupting her dates, and she responds in kind. There is a feeling that they still love each other and, making them jealous in turn, seek to reunite.
