In search of a sensation for the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the journalist comes across a classified case in the Stasi archives. This is how an unverified story about the largest escape from East Germany gets into the press. And the main national hero suddenly becomes an unremarkable Berliner - a former railway worker who at one time misplaced the arrows and had no idea that he had accidentally set 127 people free. But having unwittingly gained fame and the woman of his dreams, he lives in anxiety: what will happen when the truth comes out?
